People & Culture Specialist

About the role
The People & Culture Specialist supports the full employee lifecycle and helps build a positive, high‑performing workplace at Wright Group. You will deliver initiatives across recruitment, onboarding, engagement, learning, performance, employee relations and HR administration while ensuring compliance with legislation and company policies.
Key responsibilities
- Promote and support an inclusive, engaging workplace culture.
- Develop and implement employee engagement, wellbeing, recognition and DE&I programmes.
- Support internal communications and employee feedback initiatives.
- Manage end‑to‑end recruitment processes, partner with hiring managers, coordinate interviews, assessments and offers.
- Support employer branding and talent attraction activities.
- Coordinate onboarding to ensure a positive new‑hire experience and maintain employment documentation.
- Provide first‑line guidance on HR policies and assist managers with employee‑relations matters.
- Ensure consistent application of policies, employment legislation and GDPR compliance.
- Design, deliver and coordinate learning and development programmes, training schedules and resources.
- Monitor employee development plans, support performance reviews, goal‑setting and improvement initiatives.
- Track and report on performance‑related metrics and generate HR analytics.
- Support payroll inputs and benefits administration as required.

- Strong organisational and project‑management capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with experience interpreting people data.
- Problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills.
