Physiotherapist – Staff Grade (Permanent, Wicklow)

About the role

Enable Ireland is seeking a qualified Physiotherapist to join its Children’s Disability Network Teams in Wicklow. The role is permanent, full‑time (35 hours per week) and involves delivering physiotherapy services to children and young people (0‑18 years) and their families across a range of settings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide assessment, intervention and ongoing physiotherapy support to children with complex disabilities.
• Deliver services in clinics, preschools, schools, children’s homes and community environments.
• Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement family‑centred care plans.
• Offer clinical supervision to junior staff and contribute to service development initiatives.

Required profile

• Registered (or eligible for registration) with the Physiotherapists Registration Board (CORU).
• Proof of statutory registration on the CORU register before contract issuance.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland and commitment to maintain annual CORU registration.
• Desirable: post‑graduate experience, interdisciplinary team work, and experience with children with disabilities.

Required skills

• Physiotherapy assessment and intervention techniques for paediatric populations.
• Clinical supervision and mentorship abilities.
• Knowledge of family‑centred service delivery across multiple settings.
