Planner – Construction Projects (Dublin)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Planner to join a leading international construction contractor on high‑value, mission‑critical projects in Dublin. The role offers the chance to develop into a Planning Manager within a well‑established organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules to ensure timely delivery of construction works.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers and subcontractors to align plans with client expectations and deadlines.
• Monitor progress, identify potential delays and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate material and resource deliveries with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Conduct site visits, update schedules and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders.
• Analyse plans, specifications and drawings to spot conflicts or risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a construction‑related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction planning or scheduling.
• Proven track record using Earned Value Management and working on NEC contracts.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
