Plant Manager – Lead a 500+ Employee Manufacturing Site

About the role

As Plant Manager you will own full responsibility for a 500+ employee manufacturing site, driving operational excellence and delivering world‑class performance. You will work closely with international leadership teams to ensure safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory and people targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all site functions – engineering, manufacturing, finance, quality, materials, facilities and EHS – with full P&L accountability.
• Set and achieve plant budgets, performance targets and capacity plans aligned to business growth.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to improve quality, cost, delivery and productivity.
• Recruit, develop and retain high‑performing teams while fostering a safety‑first, continuous‑improvement culture.
• Build strong customer relationships, support new product introductions and represent the organisation in the local business community.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or Business (MBA or Master’s preferred).
• Proven senior manufacturing leadership experience, preferably in high‑volume or complex environments.
• Demonstrated track record of cost reduction, productivity gains and operational transformation.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, supply‑chain metrics and performance indicators.
• Ability to operate in a complex, global organisation.
