About the role

Join Royal Mail’s delivery team in Carrickfergus and enjoy an active, outdoor‑focused job. You will be responsible for delivering letters and parcels across a multi‑drop route, using both foot and vehicle travel while providing friendly customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and sort mail at the local delivery office each morning.
• Load your vehicle with letters and parcels, handling items up to 20 kg.
• Walk up to 8 miles per day delivering items on foot and by vehicle.
• Use a handheld device to navigate routes, record deliveries and capture signatures.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and adhere to scheduled time windows.

Required profile

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum six points, clean preferred).
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong time‑management and customer‑service orientation.
• Reliability and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with handheld navigation and signature‑capture devices.
