Powerplant Engineer – Engine Leasing

About the role

Join a leading aircraft leasing company as a Powerplant Engineer based in Shannon. You will play a pivotal role in managing a global engine portfolio, supporting maintenance planning, lease transitions, and technical collaboration with internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate engine maintenance events, shop visits and technical activities to optimise asset performance.
• Provide technical analysis, reporting and recommendations across the engine portfolio.
• Support lease transitions, including engine deliveries, returns and documentation.
• Review maintenance documentation and technical publications to implement best practices.
• Collaborate with OEMs, MRO providers and internal teams to improve technical processes and planning.

Required profile

• Relevant engineering degree, aircraft maintenance licence or equivalent technical qualification.
• Demonstrable experience in an aviation technical environment, preferably with engine maintenance or asset management exposure.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret technical data and produce clear reports.
• Effective communication skills and willingness to travel internationally when required.
