About the role

We are seeking a qualified Primary Teacher to join Kilnamanagh Community National School for the 2026/27 academic year on a fixed‑term basis. The role involves delivering high‑quality primary education to a mixed class of pupils, fostering a supportive learning environment, and adhering to professional standards set by the Teaching Council.

Key responsibilities

• Educate primary‑level students in line with the Teaching Council’s Code of Professional Conduct.
• Plan, deliver and assess curriculum across designated subject areas.
• Provide learning support and differentiated instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Collaborate with school staff and contribute to whole‑school initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified primary teacher with registration or eligibility for registration with the Irish Teaching Council.
• Commitment to a fixed‑term contract for the 2026/27 academic year.
• Ability to work 25 hours per week in an on‑site school environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Irish primary curriculum.
