Privacy Counsel

About the role

Logitech is seeking a Privacy Counsel to join its Privacy & AI Governance team within the Legal department. The role is hybrid or fully remote from Ireland and supports a global portfolio of hardware, software, and business units.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on data processing agreements, standard contractual clauses and AI terms.
• Respond to privacy‑specific questions in RFPs and RFIs.
• Draft and maintain procedures, playbooks and template libraries.
• Conduct assessments of international data transfers and provide guidance on cross‑border compliance.
• Draft, review and update privacy notices, consent forms and data‑protection policies.
• Interpret and apply global privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, COPPA, LGPD, PIPL, EU AI Act) to product and business initiatives.
• Collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders to translate legal requirements into actionable steps.
• Partner with Privacy Operations and AI Governance colleagues to strengthen compliance programs.
• Provide education, resources and training on privacy and data protection across the organization.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in a jurisdiction relevant to Logitech’s operations.
• 5+ years post‑qualification experience in privacy or data‑protection law, preferably in a multinational technology environment.
• Deep knowledge of major privacy frameworks and emerging AI governance standards.
• Self‑starter with strong judgment and the ability to work independently while collaborating across time zones.
