Private Equity Fund Administration Consultant

About the role

Reporting to a Team Leader within the Private Equity Department, you will be responsible for end‑to‑end administration of Private Equity funds. The role offers broad exposure to fund accounting, transfer agency and financial reporting while working closely with clients and auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality service to a portfolio of Private Equity clients.
• Prepare interim and annual financial statements, including consolidated statements for complex fund structures.
• Act as the primary contact for clients and external auditors, handling audit queries and requests.
• Ensure client service levels and regulatory filing deadlines are met.
• Oversee preparation of regulatory and statutory returns (Central Bank, CSO, compliance reporting).
• Calculate Net Asset Values (NAVs) accurately and deliver them on schedule.
• Control timely payment of operating expenses.
• Support the establishment of operating models and documentation at fund inception.
• Complete all legal, documentation and compliance requirements.
• Prepare, review and collate reporting for board and investor packs.
• Provide hands‑on support for day‑to‑day activities as needed.

Required profile

• A recognised professional accounting qualification (preferred) with relevant post‑qualification experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of Irish/UK GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS.
• Working knowledge of the Irish regulatory and tax framework as it relates to fund accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environments, preferably in practice, audit or industry.
• Willingness to develop specialist knowledge in Private Equity fund administration.
