Private Equity Investment Associate – Dublin

About the role

Our client, a leading private equity investor in Dublin, is seeking an Investment Associate to support the full investment lifecycle. You will work closely with Partners and Investment Directors, gaining hands‑on experience from deal origination to portfolio value creation.

Key responsibilities

• Support acquisition and exit transactions across the entire deal process.
• Build and maintain detailed financial and valuation models.
• Coordinate due‑diligence workstreams with external advisers (financial, commercial, legal).
• Prepare investment committee materials and assist senior decision‑making.
• Engage with portfolio company management teams to monitor performance and drive growth initiatives.
• Conduct market research to identify attractive sectors, themes and investment opportunities.
• Develop relationships with lenders, advisers and senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, transaction services, corporate finance or private equity.
• Proven track record of working on complex transactions and interacting with senior stakeholders.
• Strong academic credentials and demonstrated progression.
• Commercially minded with genuine interest in how businesses create value.
