PRN Neurophysiology Technologist – Night Shift

About the role

We are seeking a PRN Neurophysiology Technologist to join our night‑shift team at Baptist Hospital’s Wolfson Children’s Hospital in downtown Jacksonville. The role supports advanced neuro‑diagnostic services, including EEG and long‑term epilepsy monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electroencephalogram (EEG) studies, both scheduled and unscheduled.
• Monitor video‑EEG for hospitalized patients, ensuring clear, uninterrupted recordings.
• Collaborate closely with the Neurology department to coordinate testing.
• Provide training and support to staff and ancillary departments to enhance patient care.
• Interpret follow‑up study objectives and communicate implications for patient lifestyle.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of EEG experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Registered EEG Technologist (ABRET) certification; ABRET registration preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.

Required skills

• EEG acquisition and interpretation.
• Video‑EEG monitoring.
• Operation of neurodiagnostic equipment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) procedures.
