Process Operator – Rendering Plant (Shift Work)

About the role
College Group is looking for an enthusiastic Process Operator to join the Production Team at its Rendering Plant in Nobber. The role works on an 8‑hour shift roster covering days, nights and weekends, supporting the plant’s efficiency and key performance indicators.
Key responsibilities
- Operate the production PLC system to control processes, collect data and generate reports.
- Identify and report any operational issues to the production supervisor.
- Achieve process capacity targets and meet KPI requirements.
- Hand over critical information during shift transitions.
- Sample and deliver products to the laboratory for quality control.
- Perform general facility maintenance, equipment inspection and preventative maintenance.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and follow all safety regulations set by the HSA and other authorities.
Required profile
- Ability to organize and prioritize work for timely completion.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills.
Required skills
- PLC system operation.
