Process Technician – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Process Technician to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in County Kerry. The role focuses on equipment reliability, supporting production operations, and ensuring full compliance with GMP, quality systems, and health & safety standards in a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for equipment breakdowns and lead root‑cause investigations.
• Maintain full GMP compliance across all maintenance and engineering activities.
• Develop, review, and control SOPs and maintenance procedures.
• Participate in deviations, change controls, and technical investigations.
• Assist in the selection, installation, and qualification of new pharmaceutical equipment.
• Collaborate closely with QA/QC teams on investigations and quality improvements.

Required profile

• Qualification in a technical discipline.
• 2‑3+ years of experience as a process/maintenance technician in a GMP‑regulated or pharmaceutical environment.
• Strong understanding of GMP, validation, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
