Procurement Co‑Ordinator

About the role

The Procurement Co‑Ordinator will support the Group Materials & Asset Manager by handling procurement activities across multiple domains, including fleet, plant, and tools. Working closely with project teams, external hire companies and internal departments, the role ensures smooth sourcing, supplier management and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Train new starters on Evision GRN email processes and schedule meetings with minutes.
• Maintain and update rebate lists, approved supplier listings and onboarding documentation.
• Verify supplier accreditations, insurance coverage and ensure compliance.
• Produce and distribute monthly procurement meeting minutes and purchasing reports.
• Manage fleet administration: tax discs, CVRTs, DCI cards, toll tags, parking lists and vehicle rentals across the UK, Ireland and Europe.
• Coordinate on‑hire and off‑hire requests for tools and plant, issue accurate reports and validate supplier hire data.
• Update purchase orders with serial numbers, resolve invoice queries and populate weekly plant value data into Power BI.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of procurement experience, preferably in construction or engineering.
• Experience working with fleet, plant and tool assets.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently with general supervision.
