Procurement Specialist (Electrical) – Data Centre Construction

About the role

We are supporting a specialist contractor delivering major data‑centre projects and are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist with a strong background in electrical procurement. The role will focus on sourcing and managing electrical materials, equipment and supplier relationships across large‑scale, mission‑critical construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement of electrical packages and materials.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial agreements.
• Collaborate closely with project and commercial teams.
• Ensure materials are delivered in line with programme requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve procurement performance and reduce cost.

Required profile

• Procurement experience within electrical contracting.
• Previous experience on data‑centre, mission‑critical, pharmaceutical or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical products and supply chains.
• Commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management.
• Experience within the data‑centre sector is highly desirable.
