Procurement & Stores Lead

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Procurement & Stores Lead to join Killashee Hotel. The role will manage purchasing activities, maintain stock levels and support cost‑saving initiatives across the property. You will work closely with suppliers, internal departments and the finance team to ensure smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and orders, obtain quotations and compare prices.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries and product availability.
• Monitor stock levels, coordinate replenishment with departments and verify deliveries against purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases and filing systems.
• Follow up on outstanding orders, resolve delivery issues and support inventory counts and stock audits.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, financial controls and confidentiality of pricing information.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and work with Finance to reconcile invoices.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the yard and bin areas.

Required profile

• Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, administration or hotel operations.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• Good negotiation and supplier relationship skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Familiarity with hotel management or procurement systems such as Opera or Procure Wizard.
