About the role
Mastercard is looking for a Product Specialist to lead end‑to‑end onboarding for small‑and‑medium‑enterprise (SME) ecosystem partners, service providers, and vendors. You will act as the operational hub, turning complex risk and compliance requirements into clear, repeatable processes that accelerate partner growth and strengthen portfolio health.
Key responsibilities
- Own the full onboarding lifecycle for SME partners, from intake to launch readiness.
- Coordinate risk and due‑diligence activities, gathering documentation and ensuring alignment across internal teams.
- Track progress, risks, dependencies, and timelines across multiple partners simultaneously.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counterparts to maintain momentum and resolve blockers.
- Create and maintain onboarding artifacts such as trackers, dashboards, and standardized documentation.
- Support remediation and issue resolution, driving follow‑ups and clear closure of actions.
- Apply standard onboarding frameworks while adapting to diverse SME business models and partner profiles.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in product operations, partner operations, vendor management, compliance, sourcing, or a related field.
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams with strong organization and follow‑through.
- High attention to detail and confident stakeholder communication.
- Genuine interest in SMEs, fintech, platform products, or partnership‑driven ecosystems.
