Production Assistant – Small Molecule

About the role

The Production Assistant – Small Molecule supports the Production Business Unit by managing batch records, coordinating production activities and ensuring data integrity across multiple systems. You will act as a frontline point of contact for users, assist operators, and help maintain compliance with GMP and GDP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for Nexus users during 8‑hour shifts.
• Monitor PI sheets, virtual areas, and non‑routine material usage.
• Review and update manufacturing, cleaning and set‑up tickets in Regulus.
• Investigate ticket discrepancies, ensure 100 % data integrity and raise Level 1 quality deviations.
• Assist operators with scanning issues and support emergency tanker unloading/solvent recovery.
• Complete IIT, FIT and stability testing and review cleaning tickets.
• Support production scheduling, documentation release, and OSSCE implementation.
• Manage the ticket room, route procedures and maintain document management flow.

Required profile

• Interest in production processes and business operations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a solution‑driven attitude.
• Self‑motivated and able to work without close supervision.
• Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and compliance awareness.
• Leaving Certificate or equivalent education and/or relevant experience.
• Willingness to respond to non‑scheduled plant emergencies.

Required skills

• High‑level proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems (advantage).
• Familiarity with Nexus and Regulus production systems.
