Production Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations for a leading functional nutrition manufacturer. You will oversee all production areas, ensure schedules are met, and maintain the highest standards of quality, efficiency and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily production operations across all manufacturing zones.
• Lead, motivate and develop production teams to achieve operational targets.
• Deliver production schedules on time while upholding quality, efficiency and safety standards.
• Monitor productivity, labour utilisation and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse and New Product Development teams.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality systems, health & safety legislation and internal procedures.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Support employee training, development and performance management.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar manufacturing leadership role.
• Background in food, beverage, nutrition or FMCG manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Excellent organisational, planning and problem‑solving abilities.
• Solid understanding of food safety, quality systems and health & safety requirements.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
