Production Operative

About the role

Snap, a leading print and marketing services provider in Ireland, is looking for a Production Operative to join its Citywest Printing Services centre. The role involves operating digital and large‑format printing equipment, ensuring high‑quality output, and supporting the production team to meet customer deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a Xerox Versante 180 and Canon/Roland large‑format machines, along with associated finishing equipment.
• Read and interpret work docket instructions and update job progress in the PrintLogic MIS.
• Print, finish, quality‑check, pack and ship jobs according to customer specifications.
• Maintain equipment, complete maintenance logs, and ensure a clean, tidy work area.
• Assist management with production planning, stock management and process improvement suggestions.
• Conduct final inspections to confirm that all specifications are met before delivery.

Required skills

• Operation of Xerox Versante 180 digital press.
• Experience with Canon and Roland large‑format printers.
• Familiarity with finishing equipment and quality‑control procedures.
• Use of PrintLogic MIS for job tracking.
