Production & Quality Assurance Administrator

About the role

The Production & Quality Assurance Administrator will support Dawn International’s food manufacturing operations by ensuring product quality, compliance with food safety standards, and smooth administrative processes. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the role combines on‑site production insight with supplier and customer liaison.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the company’s Quality Assurance programme in line with internationally recognised standards.
• Travel domestically and internationally to visit suppliers and customers, assess manufacturing practices and verify product specifications.
• Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly quality reports and complete customer paperwork requests.
• Manage supplier approvals, product specifications and trade‑contract quality checks.
• Investigate customer complaints promptly and conduct internal audits of the Quality and ERP systems.
• Assist in developing and maintaining quality documentation, SOPs and training sessions for staff.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in a food manufacturing environment with solid knowledge of production processes and food safety standards.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and comfortable handling administrative tasks.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with suppliers, customers and internal teams.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Required skills

• Understanding of food safety and quality standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000).
