Production Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to lead our food manufacturing team in Cahir. You will be responsible for meeting daily production targets safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop production operators and team leaders.
• Ensure production schedules and volume targets are achieved.
• Drive productivity, efficiency and overall operational performance.
• Monitor and report on KPIs, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Manage employee performance and support training and development initiatives.
• Maintain quality, food safety and traceability standards at all times.
• Support continuous‑improvement projects to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Investigate and resolve production issues to minimise downtime.
• Oversee stock‑control processes and complete monthly stock takes accurately.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety and compliance.
• Collaborate with Production, Technical, Engineering and Supply Chain teams to achieve business objectives.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Production Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, Team Leader, Line Leader or similar manufacturing leadership role.
• Background in food manufacturing, FMCG or a fast‑paced production environment.
• Strong people‑management and leadership abilities.
• Proven track record of driving KPIs, productivity and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Good understanding of quality, food safety and operational compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to lead teams effectively in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting.
