Production Team Lead – Manufacturing Supervisor

Based in County Waterford, the role focuses on leading a production team, driving standards, supporting continuous improvement, and delivering results in a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day production activities to meet output targets, quality standards and operational KPIs.
• Coordinate staffing, workflow and production schedules to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime.
• Identify and implement productivity and efficiency improvements.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives while promoting team engagement.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, hygiene, allergen control, GMP and health & safety requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a supervisory or management role within a medium to large manufacturing organisation.
• Hands‑on leadership experience in a unionised manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of implementing operational and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, decision‑making and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in food manufacturing is desirable.
