Productivity Buyer – Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management

About the role

The Productivity Buyer will lead the definition and implementation of material productivity initiatives across technical, sourcing, logistics and VPS domains, ensuring alignment with budget targets. Working closely with segment leaders and the commodity organization, the role supports negotiation objectives and drives supplier performance.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement material productivity and reservoir strategies in line with budget requirements.
• Support commodity leaders to achieve site negotiation goals.
• Lead MSC material productivity actions and integrate suppliers according to schedule.
• Monitor supplier relationships and act as Key Account Purchasing (KAP) where needed.
• Apply worldwide material standards for product groups and lines at the site level.
• Collaborate with the site Purchasing Manager to build the site budget.
• Implement mitigation action plans and ensure logistics protocol coverage for all bought‑out parts.
• Strictly enforce V5000 Supplier Integration standards, certifications, procedures and purchasing tools.
