Program PMO Resource Scheduler

About the role

The Program PMO Resource Scheduler is responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing project schedules using Microsoft Project and related tools. The role ensures that project timelines, resource allocations, and risk registers align with business strategy and deliver successful outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update detailed project schedules in Microsoft Project for all project phases.
• Coordinate timeline creation, milestone tracking, and schedule reporting.
• Assist Project Leaders/Managers with planning, tracking, and resource distribution.
• Allocate personnel, equipment, and materials to tasks based on recommendations.
• Communicate schedule changes and updates to stakeholders.
• Generate adherence reports, actual vs. planned (S‑curve) and headcount reports.
• Support technical agenda setup and manage risk register with impact analysis.
• Facilitate Project Governance forums and status card updates.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience scheduling technical project portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project and planning software such as Planview.
• Experience with operational‑focused projects rather than capital projects.
• Proven ability to analyze resource capacity versus demand.
• PMP certification is required.
