Project Manager – Energy, Power & Renewables

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of major Energy, Power and Renewables infrastructure projects across Ireland. The role involves overseeing projects from inception to hand‑over, ensuring safety, quality and commercial success while managing multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution and delivery of Energy, Power & Renewables projects.
• Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, resource plans and procurement schedules.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams including engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and site personnel.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Chair project meetings and provide regular updates on programme, commercial performance, quality and H&S.
• Manage contract administration, variations, claims and contractual obligations.
• Work with commercial teams to control costs, forecasting and financial performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery efficiency and quality.
• Support commissioning, hand‑over and close‑out to ensure client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing engineering, infrastructure, utilities or renewable energy projects.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, contract administration and commercial management.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and financial management capability.
