Project Manager – Finance Projects (6‑month contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex finance projects for a leading client in Dublin on a six‑month contract. The role involves independent ownership of project delivery, documentation, risk management, and process improvement across global teams.

Key responsibilities

• Structure, lead and execute complex finance projects and programs, collaborating with cross‑functional teams worldwide.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation in the in‑house Project Management Tool, ensuring transparency and alignment with Modern Finance standards.
• Conduct project discovery activities with functional teams to define scope and objectives.
• Proactively manage risks, anticipate issues, and implement mitigation strategies to meet timelines and budgets.
• Support process and automation initiatives by mapping, documenting, and updating underlying processes.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of experience in project management, preferably within finance or related sectors.
• Proven ability to lead ambiguous, high‑complexity projects independently.
• Strong change‑management capabilities, including stakeholder impact analysis and adoption planning.
• Excellent collaboration and relationship‑building skills with diverse stakeholders.

Required skills

• PMI/Agile project management methodology (preferred qualification).
• PROCI change‑management framework (preferred qualification).
• Lean Six Sigma or DIMAC methodology for process excellence.
• Process mapping and documentation expertise.
