Project Manager – New Product Introductions (Biotech)

About the role

PE Global is seeking a Project Manager to support a leading multinational biotech client’s manufacturing network. This 12‑month contract role is remote, working closely with the Amgen Contract & Development Manufacturing (ACDM) hub to ensure seamless new product introductions and technology transfers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate NPI and technology transfer projects with third‑party manufacturing sites, managing timelines, budgets and cross‑functional communication.
• Track project activities from conception through implementation and close‑out, highlighting risks and escalating issues as needed.
• Maintain accurate data entries for budgeting, contract documentation, and performance reporting.
• Own and drive investigation of major and minor deviations, ensuring corrective and preventive actions meet quality standards.
• Monitor site performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Life Sciences or related field.
• Proven experience in project management within biotech or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and drive process improvements.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise between internal teams and external partners.
