Project Manager – Renewable Energy Projects (Ireland)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of renewable energy projects across Ireland. You will work with a Tier‑1 contractor that designs, builds and commissions wind farms, solar parks, battery storage systems and related grid infrastructure. The role offers the chance to contribute to Ireland’s energy transition while developing a long‑term career with a respected European construction leader.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of renewable energy schemes from construction through handover.
• Manage project programmes, budgets, resources and overall performance.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineering, commercial, procurement and site operations.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, utilities and key stakeholders.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, programme milestones and quality standards.
• Conduct project meetings and provide regular progress reports to senior leadership.
• Promote health, safety, environmental compliance and operational excellence.
• Support procurement, subcontractor management and commercial decision‑making.
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering major construction, civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Background in renewable energy, power, utilities or large‑scale civil works.
• Strong leadership of multidisciplinary project teams.
• Track record of delivering projects safely, on schedule and within budget.
