Project Manager – Technical Construction (Pharma)

About the role

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major technical construction package for a pharmaceutical client in Dublin. The role involves overseeing the project from design coordination through construction, ensuring safety, quality and cost targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the project programme, sequencing, logistics and short‑term look‑aheads.
• Coordinate design releases, RFIs, technical queries and multidisciplinary interfaces.
• Chair coordination, subcontractor and technical meetings as required.
• Lead site operations and package coordination to maintain programme, safety and quality standards.
• Work with commercial teams on procurement, cost control, forecasting and value management.
• Provide progress reports, risk logs, KPI updates and stakeholder communications.
• Mentor site managers, engineers, supervisors and package teams.

Required profile

• 5‑10+ years of project management, senior engineering or package coordination experience with a main contractor.
• Proven track record on medium‑to‑large construction projects (EUR 10 m‑150 m).
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in life‑sciences/pharma or high‑spec industrial projects.
• Strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness and understanding of procurement and contracts.
