Public & Regulatory Solicitor

About the role

We are partnering with a leading international law firm in Dublin to hire a Public & Regulatory Solicitor for its expanding disputes and investigations team. This position is ideal for an ambitious newly qualified solicitor eager to build expertise in public law, regulatory investigations and complex contentious matters.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior partners on regulatory and statutory investigations.
• Support judicial review proceedings and public law disputes.
• Handle professional disciplinary, fitness‑to‑practice, and white‑collar investigations.
• Provide risk and compliance advice to healthcare, financial services and public sector clients.
• Draft pleadings, conduct legal research and support advocacy in High Court litigation.
• Engage with regulated professionals, insurers and public bodies on advisory matters.

Required profile

• Solicitor with at least 1 year PQE, preferably gained in litigation, disputes or regulatory work.
• Experience with contentious matters, investigations, judicial review or regulator interactions is advantageous.
• Strong drafting, analytical and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities within a collaborative team.
