Purchasing & Customer Service Specialist

About the role

Join a well‑established client operating in a high‑volume production environment. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end purchasing while also handling key customer‑service and administrative tasks to keep the supply chain flowing smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Source materials, place and track purchase orders, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Prepare order confirmations, dispatch notes, invoices, credit notes, shipping documentation, and freight import/export paperwork.
• Monitor inventory levels, expedite critical items, and resolve supply‑chain issues before they affect production.
• Maintain ERP data accuracy, Bills of Materials, purchasing records, and KPIs while ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with internal departments and suppliers to address purchasing, delivery, quality, and invoice discrepancies.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and support supplier negotiations.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory management, or a related customer‑service environment.
• Strong organisational, problem‑solving and multitasking abilities with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and a self‑motivated, independent work style.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to an efficient procurement function.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
