Qualified Senior Accountant – Kildare

About the role
Our client, a leading accountancy and business advisory practice in County Kildare, is expanding its team. They are looking for a qualified senior accountant who can deliver high‑quality financial reporting, tax compliance and audit services for a diverse portfolio of SME clients.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare statutory financial statements for SMEs in line with FRS 102/105.
- Provide strategic advisory on cash flow, growth and business planning.
- Prepare and file Corporation Tax, Income Tax and VAT returns.
- Review and mentor junior staff and trainees.
- Manage day‑to‑day client relationships, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Plan and execute statutory audits, including risk assessments and substantive testing.
Required profile
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CPA).
- 2–3 years of experience in an Irish accountancy practice.
- Strong knowledge of Irish GAAP and tax compliance.
