Quality Assurance (QA) Associate

About the role
The Quality Assurance (QA) Associate will support the expansion and management of the site’s Food Safety and Quality Management System (QMS). This permanent, onsite position focuses on implementing QMS frameworks, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Drive system expansion by implementing QMS into new operational areas and performing internal audits, GMP inspections, and Food Safety walks.
- Administer the Document Management system, ensuring documentation aligns with evolving regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations and other departments to embed quality standards throughout the organization.
- Assist in developing and delivering Food Safety training for new hires and existing staff, emphasizing proper documentation practices.
- Lead, monitor, and review corrective and preventative action (CAPA) processes to resolve non‑conformances.
- Support internal and third‑party audits, including regulatory and certification bodies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Quality Assurance, Food Science, or a related scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in food industry quality control or assurance.
- Working knowledge of QA systems, GMPs, and FSSC 22000 standards.
- Proven ability to manage projects independently while thriving in cross‑functional teams.
Required skills
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience creating procedural documents such as SOPs.
