Quality Assurance Technician

About the role

The Quality Assurance Technician ensures food safety, product quality and regulatory compliance for finished dairy products in a manufacturing environment. Working closely with operations, maintenance and quality teams, the role supports HACCP implementation and maintains high standards of plant hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain food safety and quality of all finished products during the shift.
• Ensure HACCP plans are fully implemented and work instructions are followed.
• Complete all required records accurately on shift.
• Maintain plant hygiene to exceed Department of Agriculture, BRC and customer requirements.
• Perform analytical tests on raw materials and finished products.
• Identify, record and resolve non‑conformances.
• Coordinate with suppliers and support audit activities.
• Provide training and competency checks for personnel.
• Support Health & Safety initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

Required profile

• Experience working in a food manufacturing or dairy environment.
• Understanding of HACCP principles and food safety regulations.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
