Quality Control Technician

About the role
The Quality Control Technician ensures that products manufactured by Vertiv meet strict quality standards and specifications. Working on electrical installations such as cable trays, signal cables, lighting, grounding, and related systems, the role supports consistent product performance across production lines.
Key responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections and testing at various stages of electrical work, including cable tray, signal cable, lighting, small power, grounding, and bonding installations.
- Document inspection results, maintain detailed quality records, and report non‑conformances.
- Conduct incoming inspections of materials and components.
- Calibrate and maintain testing equipment to ensure accurate measurements.
- Support continuous‑improvement initiatives and collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality control or inspection role.
- Proficiency in English (90% comprehension).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Positive mindset, autonomy, and proactive approach.
- Basic computer skills, including email, collaboration tools, Excel, Word, and file management.
Required skills
- Use of measurement tools and testing equipment.
- Calibration and maintenance of testing instruments.
- Familiarity with Switchgear, UPS, CRAC units, STS, or busbar systems (preferred).
- Documentation of inspection results and quality records.
