Quality Control Technician

About the role

Milish Bakery, a family‑owned Irish contract bakery, is seeking a motivated Quality Control Technician to join the Technical team on the late shift. You will help ensure that muffins, scones and other baked goods consistently meet the highest food‑safety, quality and customer standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine quality checks throughout production.
• Inspect raw materials, work‑in‑progress and finished products.
• Complete quality records accurately and promptly.
• Monitor product specifications, weights and packaging quality.
• Perform environmental, hygiene, equipment calibration and verification checks.
• Identify and escalate quality issues.
• Support GMP, HACCP and food‑safety standards across the factory.
• Collaborate with Production to resolve quality concerns.
• Assist with customer and internal audit requirements.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
