Quality Manager – FMCG

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join a fast‑growing Irish FMCG organisation. Reporting to the Managing Director and sitting on the Senior Leadership Team, you will lead the quality function across manufacturing sites and help drive the company’s ambition to double its size within five years.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a quality team of three direct reports across manufacturing facilities.
• Design, implement and maintain best‑in‑class food safety and quality systems that support the company’s strategic pillars.
• Protect the business from food safety risks by identifying, evaluating and mitigating risks and opportunities.
• Provide technical and manufacturing governance, ensuring the strategic vision translates into profitable operations.
• Leverage cross‑functional expertise to make informed, data‑driven decisions.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within technical and manufacturing areas.
• Uphold brand values through strict ethical, integrity and food‑safety compliance.
• Participate in senior leadership discussions to shape and execute company strategy.

Required profile

• Proven quality management and people‑management experience, preferably in FMCG.
• Ability to gain buy‑in from diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Calm under pressure, rational thinker and hands‑on problem solver.
• Willingness to work on the shop floor to investigate equipment or process issues.
• Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on health‑risk mitigation.
• HACCP accreditation and FMCG experience are mandatory.
