Quality Team Member – New Directions

About the role

The Quality Team Member – New Directions will support the implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of New Directions Day Supports across Cheeverstown Services. Acting as Interim Standards Lead in partnership with HSE Day Opportunities, the role works closely with the Quality Manager, Programme Manager, operations teams and families to ensure services align with national policy, evidence‑based practice and organisational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and review the New Directions EASI Tool and associated monitoring frameworks.
• Lead person‑centred planning, quality assurance and service monitoring activities.
• Measure outcomes for individuals and support services in demonstrating measurable results.
• Drive continuous quality improvement and strengthen assurance processes across day supports.
• Promote a culture that places individual preferences, rights and aspirations at the centre of service delivery.
• Maintain positive relationships with individuals supported, families, multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal, organisational, facilitation and influencing abilities.
• Experience working in health or social care quality, standards or monitoring.
• Commitment to person‑centred approaches and outcome‑focused service delivery.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
