Quant Python Engineer – Permanent – Dublin

About the role

Our client, a global market leader, is seeking a senior Quantitative Engineer with strong Python expertise to join their Dublin tech team on a permanent basis. The role combines financial modelling, analytics, and cloud‑based solution delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with analytic services, product management and engineering teams to design and implement high‑quality modelling solutions.
• Lead technical design and architecture discussions for portfolio‑level analytics, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
• Develop, test, document and automate analytic pipelines on the AWS platform.
• Drive innovation through proof‑of‑concept projects and adoption of AI tools to improve productivity.
• Debug numerical computations and clearly communicate results to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering quantitative solutions in a financial context, preferably at senior level.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for learning and tackling new challenges.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a high‑performing, globally distributed team.
