R&D Engineer I

About the role

Integer is seeking an entry‑level R&D Engineer I to support new product introduction and process development across its manufacturing sites. Working under the guidance of senior engineers, you will help ensure that products are launched safely, with high quality and cost efficiency while adhering to regulatory and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and qualify processes and equipment for new product launches.
• Characterize, optimize, and validate manufacturing processes and lines.
• Design efficient production line layouts and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform estimations of production times, staffing needs, and related costs.
• Conduct failure analysis, root‑cause investigations, and recommend corrective actions.
• Document and implement moderate‑complexity product and process technologies.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career engineer with a degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
• Ability to follow standard quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory procedures (e.g., FDA, QMS).
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills
