Receptionist – Relief Cover (Killorglin)

About the role

G4S Secure Solutions Ireland is seeking a reliable Receptionist for relief cover at its Killorglin office. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day office operations while supporting the security team.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the switchboard and direct incoming calls in a professional manner.
• Send shipments by courier and handle all outgoing post.
• Manage and order stationery and other essential office supplies.
• Maintain the meeting‑room booking system and ensure rooms are prepared for use.

Required profile

• Personable, friendly and enjoys interacting with a variety of stakeholders.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience, preferably in security or front‑desk roles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluent in English.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities; able to prioritise tasks and work independently.
• Adaptable to a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
