Regional Employee Relations Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Regional Employee Relations (ER) Specialist to join our dynamic, international People team in Ireland. You will support employee relations activities across multiple Northern European jurisdictions, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant handling of cases.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a wide range of ER cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, performance issues, dismissals, reorganisations, and investigations across several countries.
• Provide expert guidance to managers and HR stakeholders, aligning decisions with regional practices and employment law.
• Conduct investigations, document findings, track cases, and prepare clear reports with recommendations.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve ER policies, frameworks, templates, and procedures for the region.
• Deliver training and capability‑building sessions on ER topics and employment‑law updates for managers and People teams.
• Analyse ER case trends to identify risks, patterns, and opportunities for early resolution and process improvement.
• Collaborate with People Operations and HR to stay current on employment‑law changes and best practices.
• Support digitalisation initiatives, including AI tools, to enhance ER case management and reporting.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of employment law and ER practices across Northern Europe or similar multi‑jurisdiction environments.
• Proven experience handling complex ER cases, investigations, and HR issues within a matrix or international organisation.
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, adaptable to diverse cultures and audiences.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking abilities with attention to detail.
• Proactive, resilient, and solution‑oriented attitude in a fast‑paced, multicultural setting.
