About the role

This is a 12‑month fixed‑term Registrar position in Medicine at Tipperary University Hospital, commencing on 13 July 2026. The role offers a valuable opportunity to deliver acute medical care within the Irish health system while developing specialist competencies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient medical assessment and management.
• Lead ward rounds, coordinate acute admissions and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to governance standards.
• Participate in teaching, training and continuous professional development activities.

Required profile

• Valid IMC registration.
• Right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
• Minimum six months experience in a registrar or comparable medical role in the UK or Ireland.
• Eligibility for full registration and compliance with local regulatory requirements.
