About the role
Lazard Fund Managers (Ireland) Limited is seeking a Regulatory and Commercial Lawyer to join its Dublin legal team. You will support the Head of Legal & Compliance in managing the Irish UCITS business and contribute to EU‑wide regulatory projects.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day legal and regulatory advice to the Dublin Legal & Compliance team.
- Support emerging regulation projects across Europe, including GDPR, DORA, SFDR and regulatory reporting.
- Monitor new laws and guidance affecting UCITS/AIFM rules and Central Bank of Ireland requirements.
- Assist in coordinating with global business units, external counsel and regulators for Irish and French UCITS fund distribution.
- Help oversee compliance with Irish UCITS platforms covering over 32 funds and approximately $12 billion in assets.
Required profile
- 2–3+ years of experience in regulatory or commercial law, preferably within asset management or financial services.
- Strong understanding of EU financial regulations, UCITS/AIFM frameworks and Irish regulatory environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external advisors.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
