Regulatory Lawyer

About the role

KKR is seeking an experienced Regulatory Lawyer to join its Legal & Compliance team. The successful candidate will provide expert advice on financial services regulation and manage regulatory filings for KKR transactions and executive appointments across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on and coordinate financial regulatory matters and filings with authorities such as the Central Bank of Ireland and the UK Financial Conduct Authority.
• Prepare, review, and submit end‑to‑end regulatory filings in line with KKR’s procedures.
• Maintain comprehensive records of regulatory advice and filing activity.
• Monitor KKR’s regulated entities and interpret regulatory obligations related to corporate changes and personnel appointments.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external counsel, and third‑party service providers to ensure accurate and timely information is provided to antitrust, FDI and financial supervisory regulators.

Required profile

• At least seven years of post‑qualification experience advising on financial services regulation or working with regulated financial entities.
• Strong legal judgment, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent organisational skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate across transactional timelines.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of financial supervisory regulations in Ireland, the UK and other global jurisdictions.
• Experience preparing regulatory submissions and managing filings with central banks and financial conduct authorities.
