Regulatory Reporting & Controls Specialist – Dublin

About the role

This senior position oversees regulatory reporting and controls for a global Capital Markets and Corporate Lending bank in Dublin. You will ensure accurate data flow and compliance across evolving regulatory frameworks, working in a hybrid model with three days on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review regulatory reports, including Corep, FinRep/Statistical Returns, and data‑flow controls.
• Monitor and enhance control frameworks to mitigate reporting risks.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address regulatory changes.
• Analyse financial data to support regulatory submissions and business objectives.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of regulatory guidelines and industry best practices.
• Identify and implement process improvements for reporting efficiency.
• Support audits and regulatory reviews by providing documentation and insights.
• Assist in developing policies and procedures related to regulatory reporting and controls.

Required profile

• Strong background in regulatory reporting with a focus on controls, preferably from a mid‑ to large‑scale bank.
• Alternatively, experience as a senior auditor of banks (Big 4 or top‑60 practice firms) with a control‑mindset.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience with compliance and risk management systems.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills for cross‑team collaboration.
• Relevant professional qualifications in Accounting or Finance.
