Renewables Maintenance Technician – Wind Turbine Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Renewables Maintenance Technician to join our operational team in County Wexford, Ireland. The role focuses on maintaining wind turbine assets, ensuring reliability and performance of critical renewable infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative and corrective maintenance on wind turbines and associated substations.
• Carry out mechanical, electrical, diagnostic and safety inspections.
• Troubleshoot faults and execute repairs to minimise downtime.
• Monitor turbine performance, alarms and asset reliability.
• Complete technical intervention reports and keep service documentation up to date.
• Update maintenance histories and CMMS records.
• Collaborate with site operations, dispatch and technical supervision teams.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with QHSE and site safety procedures.

Required profile

• Qualification in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Automation or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of technical maintenance experience, preferably in renewables, utilities or high‑voltage environments.
• HV/LV certification or equivalent electrical qualifications.
• Ability to work safely at height and maintain good physical fitness for field work.
• Fluent English communication skills.
