Repair & Maintenance Technician

About the role

WGNSTAR is seeking a Repair & Maintenance Technician to perform daily maintenance tasks in a semiconductor clean‑room environment. You will support customers by diagnosing faults, carrying out corrective actions, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and unscheduled corrective repairs on semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Work on electrical and mechanical sub‑assemblies, following detailed work instructions.
• Document root‑cause analysis, problem‑solving steps, and corrective actions.
• Maintain clean‑room protocols, safety standards, and quality checks.
• Use MS Office and internal computer systems for reporting and data logging.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.
• Electrically and mechanically minded with strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work within diverse teams, adapt to varied tasks, and prioritise work.
• Willingness to work a compressed 12‑hour shift schedule, including nights and weekends.
