Reservations Agent

About the role

The Reservations Agent works closely with the Reservations Manager and the wider team to deliver exceptional guest care. The role involves handling the switchboard, processing bookings, and supporting the day‑to‑day operations of the reservations office in a resort environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a professional, friendly, and courteous service to all guests.
• Work varying shifts across five days per week, including mid‑week and weekend hours.
• Promote the resort’s facilities and services to guests.
• Accurately record bookings using the designated reservation system.
• Communicate relevant information promptly to the appropriate parties.
• Develop strong working relationships with colleagues in reservations and related departments.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar reservations or front‑office role.
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self‑motivated, trustworthy, enthusiastic, and polite.
• Ability to complete tasks within agreed timeframes.
• Well‑groomed and neatly presented.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Opera Fidelio reservation system.
• Knowledge of channel management or revenue management tools (advantageous).
